I like to do this little thing to myself where I stress so much about locations. Client's messaging me a week ahead of time asking me to commit to a place. It gets me a little sticky under the arms trying to always think of the "perfect" spot. But here's the thing - Sometimes you just have to let the moment take you. I like to FEEL a spot and sometimes that can happen in a second. Depending on the time, the light, the sky, the weather, the vibe.
I was inspired by this particular spot. A tiny little spot at the side of the road in Cambridge Ontario. A suburban neighbourhood. Drive too quickly and you just might miss it. This unassuming little patch was in front of a fence, down a slope and just behind a row of houses. The shoot took all of 18 minutes and the result is lovely.
So I'm going to try less to stress less and get y'all to buy in on the 'lets just wait and see'. Sometimes you just need to go where the light takes you.
Nicola
